Celebrating Christmas Day 2020 at Colwick Hall

Christmas 2020 may not quite be on the same scale as usual here at the Hall, but we still plan on bringing you the most magical day! This year we are opening up our 1776 Grand Ballroom & Champagne Lounge (adults only) and Byron’s Brasserie (children welcome in here). Enjoy all the grandeur of the hall, and celebrate with those closet to you.

Tables will be able to cater parties of differing sizes (subject to government guidance of course!), and our sittings are at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm – subject to availability.

Christmas time has always been so special for us here at the Hall, and we don’t plan on that being any different this year. After the roller coaster that has been 2020, we can’t wait to celebrate a wonderful day with you all, and make those all so precious memories to round off the year on a high!

Cappuccino of wild mushroom soup with croutons

Gravlax of Scottish salmon, rouchelles of cream cheese, beetroot & watercress

Confit duck samosa, mango salsa, chilli jam, onion bhaji & cucumber

Whipped goats cheese, honey roasted fig, pear puree, pickled onion, rocket & Parmesan tuile

Main Course

Traditional roast turkey breast, pork & onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, goose fat potatoes, sauteed Brussels, root vegetables with turkey jus

Confit shoulder of lamb, stuffed kofman cabbage leaf, rosemary fondant with redcurrant jus

Oven baked cod loin, crispy chicken skin, prawn & ginger potato rosti with green beans & laksa sauce

Spinach & roasted red pepper roulade, sauteed chestnut mushrooms, asapragus with green herb sauce

Desserts

Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce

Irish coffee brulee, sable biscuits with praline & toffee sauce

White chocolate & mango artic roll, mango puree, dark chocolate mousse with lemon balm

Yuzu cake, lemon curd, berries, Italian meringue & sorbet
