What’s your plan this New Years Eve?

Some of the most established traditions across the globe for celebrating New Years Eve include:

1. Watching fireworks
2. Popping champagne
3. Singing ‘Auld Lang Syne’

In true Colwick Hall tradition, our gala ball is stylishly themed, and includes all of the above! This year #0018 is Bond inspired, so secret agents are encouraged to dress to kill. Guests will sweep through the arrowed gates and pull up to the premier – showing off their elegance as they walk the red carpet to be greeted with a glass of Prosecco Royale and bitesized canapés filled with explosive flavours.

A most popular night of 2018, the New Years Eve gala is strongly subscribed with many making plans early. If you are yet to get your tickets, we have spaces in our Byron’s Brasserie.

The Brasserie is gloriously decorated for the festive season and a gastronomic oasis awaits you. Chef’s recommendations for 2018 include the ‘Thai prawn soup with lemongrass’ for starter, ahead of the main reveal of ‘roasted rump of lamb with spinach mousse and wild garlic’, and the sweet debrief offers irresistible choice featuring ‘white chocolate, blueberry and Amaretto mascarpone cheesecake’.

The gala ball then continues in our Lakeside Pavilion (where seating will also be available for guests who have dined in Byron’s Brasserie or the Grand Ballroom), where revellers can take to the dance floor set amidst the neon-soaked strip, with a playlist of top tunes from our resident DJ before the countdown begins. At the stroke of midnight, our dragoon piper commences with ‘Auld Lang Syne’, champagne is popped and a spectacular firework display enthralls. The most perfect welcome to 2019!
