Roadmap to reopening

Hello everyone!

We hope you are keeping well.

Following the recent government roadmap, we hope you are all looking forward to good times ahead, are excited about making future plans, and ready for those epic celebrations and enjoyable staycations to come. We know we are, and can’t wait to be a part of this with you all at Colwick Hall, in a safe and relaxed environment.

Since the roadmap announcement, the diary has been filling up quickly for the second half of the year, and we are thrilled to be able to work with you all on your future events. The team at Colwick Hall are here to work with you every step of the way, and are excitedly gearing up for the road to reopening, and seeing you all at our venue again soon.

To give you an overview of the upcoming weeks/ months ahead, please see the below. Of course all is subject to government guidance, and based on current guidelines which are still being finalised.

From 29th March 2021 – We will be reopening our ‘Colwick Park Hut’, facing the decking area and opening out onto Colwick Lake. We will be serving coffees and drinks with light food and refreshments for takeaway.

From 12th April 2021 – We will be open for serving outdoor hospitality, and weather dependent you will be able to enjoy afternoon tea, drinks and meals on our beautiful grounds.

From 17th May 2021 – Guests can book hotel stays, and our indoor hospitality will be reopening including our Byron’s Brasserie restaurant.

From 21st June 2021 – Restrictions are set to be lifted.

As mentioned, all the above is subject to government guidance, and for more specific details on the roadmap for reopening, please visit the government website here.

Specific guidance on weddings currently allows a capacity of 6 attendees from 29th March, 15 attendees from 12th April, 30 attendees from 17th May and potentially no restrictions from 21st June. For further guidance click here. We recently shared our thoughts on the roadmap ahead for weddings with Mark Dennison on BBC Radio Nottingham (you can listen below). Weddings are such special occasions for couples, and have been severely impacted over the course of the pandemic, however there are better times ahead, and we can now all plan with a bit more certainty and look forward to a summer of weddings, being with our friends and family again and vacations in the UK.

For now our accommodation remains open during this time as per the exceptions permitted on the government website, and we continue to serve our click and collect afternoon tea to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.

We would love you to get in touch! We are still available to take bookings and talk through any queries you may have. Please contact us on 0115 950 0566, email reservations@colwickhallhotel.com or book via our website at colwickhallhotel.com

Hang in there for now, and we can’t wait to see you very soon!
