When the Celebrating Her Charity Ball arrived at Colwick Hall, the goal was clear: create an unforgettable experience that would inspire generosity. Set within our Lakeside Pavilion, the evening was a masterclass in how to turn a marquee into a high-end, high-energy gala venue.

The Transformation: Purple, Silver, and Shimmer
The organisers chose a sophisticated palette of deep black linens accented with vibrant purple satin chair bows.

The Atmosphere: Under our signature chandeliers and canopy of fairy lights, the room glowed with a purple hue that felt both regal and intimate.

The “Let’s Party” Moment: A shimmering silver sequin wall paired with a neon “Let’s Party” sign and a balloon installation provided the perfect photo op for guests in their black-tie finery.

Entertainment that Soared
One of the greatest strengths of the Lakeside Pavilion is its height and floor space. This event took full advantage of that with:

Aerial Artistry: A stunning aerial hoop performance right in the centre of the room.
Interactive Fun: Stilt walkers greeting guests and a 360-photo booth that kept the energy high.
Live Vocals: A live singer on our raised stage area, ensuring the music carried perfectly throughout the pavilion and bar.

From Red Carpets to Sweet Treats
The flow of the night was seamless. Guests arrived via a red carpet entrance, were greeted with rows of chilled champagne and Peroni, and later treated to fresh, made-to-order crepes from a dedicated dessert station.

By utilising the “blank canvas” of the Pavilion, the Celebrating Her team was able to fit multiple “zones”—a quiet bar area, a high-impact dance floor, and a spacious dining section—all under one roof without ever feeling crowded.
