Silver Service Singers
Special occasions are often filled with months of planning leading to spectacular celebration amongst friends and family. That anticipation and excitement coupled with a few surprises often adds an extra dimension.
A singing waiter act brings an element of surprise and theatre not only for the couple but also the guests. Witness to weddings at Colwick Hall, these hugely versatile and professional performers have a way of blending with the service team and astonishingly break into song, be it a classic tenor or trending number.
This summer, several acts have performed in the Ballroom to raucous applause and standing ovation for the finale. Silver Service Singers surprised the bride in complete awe with the soundtrack to their day. Hits from Robbie Williams, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, The Killers and many more made for the perfect singalong. With early planning in meticulous detail, these surprise singers let the show begin, donned in Colwick Hall waiting staff attire, as soon as the last dessert plate was served. Just last weekend saw Craig from Leading Lights Productions at Matt & Alison’s wonderful wedding. An unexpected transition from roaring Opera to the most romantic Amore which got all up on their feet waving their napkins. A fabulous spectacle to watch and a very uplifting experience.
Weddings form a magical union in the presence of nearest and dearest. Often the small touches spark greater affinity and unity in gathering lively conversation over food, drink and entertainment. This spells out special occasion. Under the hand painted ceiling of doves, soft clouds and blue sky, the Ballroom exudes outstanding acoustics and romantic charm.
As a popular venue for weddings and celebrations in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Colwick Hall has worked with a plethora of entertainment partners, suppliers and is more than happy to share contacts to help in the clients search for adding the small and invaluable touches to the magical timeline for the day.
