Or, if you prefer scenic and tranquil settings, then the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside is ideal for relaxed family walks and bike rides.

National Justice Museum

The National Justice Museum is a must-see for your trip to the city centre. The Museum uses original courtrooms, dungeons and prison cells to exhibit crime and punishment collections in a fun and interactive way. History is brought to life with a variety of colourful characters with different stories of justice to tell.

City of Caves

Who doesn’t love to see a real-life cave? The City of Caves is a set of man-made caves dating from 1250 AD that was discovered under the local shopping centre. This is also part of the National Justice Museum which is just a short walk away, so you can have a bite to eat in between activities.

Stonebridge City Farm

Calling all animal lovers! The Farm is an urban-based farm in the city centre. The Farm offers everyone the chance to see the animals and to help with feeding. Animals on the farm include cows, sheep, ponies, goats, birds, pigs, bunnies and more! The charity-based farm is free entry to visitors, with donations much appreciated.
