Strictly Come Dancing Comes to Colwick Hall!
Colwick Hall welcomes Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Strictly come Dancing Winners to the Ballroom.
This February to celebrate Valentines Day we had the absolute pleasure to welcome the lovely ITV team, winners Ellie & Vito along with the wonderful couple Frank & Sandra.
None other than the talented winners of Strictly Come Dancing, Ellie & Vito gave Frank and Sandra the lucky couple romantic dancing lessons to complete their love story. After working hard together to make their dancing dream come true Colwick Hall proudly welcomed their family and friends to the Ballroom to watch Frank and Sandra beautifully perform together.
The Grand Ballroom went back in time to its former glory in 1776 to host the performance.

Whilst Frank and Sandra changed into their fineries, their family after a walk around the grounds enjoyed Afternoon Tea under the hand painted ceiling. Colwick Hall felt truly at home hosting the Ballroom Performance, the guest rooms used and serving the British Afternoon Tea at Lunch. The delicious light Sandwiches, warming taster soup and home baked desserts were enjoyed in the grand Country House setting.
The seed was planted at the start of January before the beginning of their tour that they were going to be training a lucky viewer Strictly champions Ellie and Vito make an exciting announcement! | This Morning (itv.com) and we were so excited to hear from ITV!
Being neighbours with the Motorpoint Arena who hosted the Strictly Come Dancing Tour that week and Colwick Hall just round the corner it made the perfect place to host. The heart melting performance was touching- Ellie, Vito and the couples family were so proud. After a lovely afternoon we were looking forward to seeing it on This Morning. Wishing a Happy Ruby Wedding Anniversary to Frank and Sandra with lots to celebrate including a big 70th Birthday they now have gift of the dance ready to take with them for their cruise.
