Nottingham brings you the Motorpoint Arena Panthers Ice Hockey, Nottingham Playhouse, Theatre Royal and lots of other great performances. On visiting Colwick Hall Hotel as you drive round the turning circle and the beautiful grounds welcome you it’s hard to believe you’re less than 2 miles from the heart of city centre. We have a free onsite car park and our reception team would be happy to call you a taxi with our friends at DG Cars or give directions for a short 10 minute walk to the Bus Stop.
Our Chef’s are here and busying in the kitchen from 12 o’clock until 9pm and can offer our Pre-Arena Menu to get you ready for your show full and on time. If you let us know on arrival we can notify the kitchen to ensure the speedy service to keep in track of your schedule.
When staying with us check- in, get settled and enjoy the special rate menu. We love to hear who you’re here to see and often slightly envious with all the great acts Motorpoint play host too. It looks like 2024 is going to be a big one with already announcing Girls Aloud, Strictly Come Dancing & James Arther to name a few. As we write Tom Jones is due in town tomorrow singing to a record audience. We’re excited to hear who’s next to the stage!

If you have slightly more time there’s also our Afternoon Tea (pre-book), Light Lunch and Al la Carte Dinner being served.
Home to the Poet Lord Byron we naturally support the great plays of Nottingham. The entertainment doesn’t limit there being on the doorstep of Nottingham Forest and Notts County Football Grounds as well as the Trent Bridge Cricket Club. The concept of pre-arena dining is a new launch for us. Stemmed from pre-theatre meals, the idea was conceived by our Head Chef, always eager to please and adapt for our residents and visitors alike. Avoiding the rush of commuter traffic in city centre, the notion of relaxed dining in the Brasserie ahead of your booked event eases time pressure. What’s more being just 10 minute taxi ride away from town allows you to pair with a drink at the bar, it really is the perfect plan.
